I'm a professional dieter, writer, speaker and entrepreneur. I am also a certified Advanced Clinical Weight Loss Practitioner. I was on my first diet when I was 12 years old. And I've been on a diet every year since - until my life changed in 2014. Gaining and losing 20+ pounds every year. I didn't know it, but I was addicted to sugar and I didn't have an off switch. When my daughter was born in 1996 I weighed in at 218 pounds. I eventually lost the weight thanks to the Atkins diet, but everyone told me it was dangerous and it was hurting my kidneys and liver and I couldn't do it forever. The weird thing was I felt great! How could it be bad for me? My energy was off the charts and I looked and felt great! So I went back to my normal way of eating and gained the weight back. This was my normal and the normal for almost everyone I knew.

I opened a business in 2014 and ironically it was in the weight loss field. I soon realized that my vegetarian clients weren't responding and I found that odd. How do you get fat from eating too many vegetables? So I started down a rabbit hole and found a whole underworld of Ketogenic nutrition and it quickly became the foundation of my program. I lost 22 lbs in 2 months and felt amazing.
